The Student Council would like to inform students in student housing (Stúdentagarðar) that the council’s rights office has already spoken to representatives from the Icelandic Student Services, about upcoming construction projects at Vetragarður and the concerns of residents due to the disruptions they may cause.

It is clear that the news weigh heavily on residents and that a more extensive conversation needs to take place. The Icelandic Student Services is currently working on compiling the suggestions that have been received and answers will be sent to all residents today. It has also been decided to speed up the information meeting with residents living in the part of the building that will undergo construction.
